The South African cloud-platform-as-a-service swith has just gone live with SANTACO being the first mobile money wallet to be hosted as a client. We are responsible for transaction processing in real time and with finality (non-reversable). This compliments the five on-premise deployments to Central Banks in MEA, which were deployed by our software partner.
We are excited to add more wallets as clients in South Africa, and expand our services to other markets in Africa on a rapid plug-and-play basis, subject to regulatory approvals.
Our MMPS (mobile money payment system) is the equivalent of a core banking system, and was used for the deployment of SANTACO's Merchant and Consumer apps, currently available in the app stores of Apple, Google (Android) and Huawei. It is the fastest and most secure way to make mobile money payments.
