The licence relationship
SommaRedde is ProgressSoft's direct licensee for South Africa. Enterprises and merchants who join the rail are SommaRedde's customers, not ProgressSoft's. One Lexiicon implements and maintains the supporting Oracle technology stack.

A short history
The group was founded in 2016. The partnership with ProgressSoft followed in 2017, the cloud platform was completed in 2019, and the South African operating company was incorporated in 2026 to lead the first national deployment.
